• Frances Wilks (b. 1990) is a multidisciplinary British artist. After training in visual communication and working within art direction, she gained a deep understanding of the commercial systems for creating and manipulating desire. She uses and distorts these systems in her work, often piecing
      together fragments from extensive visual research that stimulate an instinctive emotional response.
